"Not all gelato is created equal," says Paola Richard, founder and Rome native who established GelatoLove nearly twelve years ago in Carlsbad. "In 2018, we became the first company in the world to reinvent frozen desserts using allulose—a magic natural sugar derived from fruit with practically no calories. We were true pioneers in creating a fully natural solution for every ingredient, including stabilizers and emulsifiers."
GelatoLove's commitment to quality extends beyond innovative sweeteners. The company sources locally whenever possible, partnering with Hollandia Dairy for milk and cream, and featuring Carlsbad strawberries and other organic fruits from neighboring farms. The artisan gelato team, led by Italian natives Paola and her husband Luca Guerzoni, offers an array of distinctive flavors crafted with meticulous attention to both tradition and innovation: like Italian Dream – A classic Italian Fior di Latte, the creamy heart of milk swirled with crunchy cashews, rich chocolate, and aromatic espresso, capturing the essence of traditional Italian gelato craftsmanship. Operating in 150 countries worldwide, Fabbri selected GelatoLove to create exclusive gelato flavors featuring no added sugar and only the finest natural ingredients—products designed for nationwide distribution across the United States.
